Kathy Laster

Kathy is the Director of the Sir Zelman Cowen Centre at Victoria University. She has held senior academic positions in a number of Australian universities. Her appointments have included as CEO of the Institute of Public Administration of Australia (IPAA), Executive Director of the Victoria Law Foundation, and advisor to the Commonwealth Attorney-General on the development of pro bono legal services in Australia.

Kathy has published widely in criminology, multiculturalism and law and more recently on the future of the professions in the digital age. Kathy is regarded as an influential change agent as well as a commentator on change management in the public sector.
