For nearly 110 years the Kadimah has provided programs for the Jewish Community.  It is the oldest Jewish cultural organisation in Victoria.  Originally established as a library, the legacy of the Kadimah is the almost 100 year tradition of Yiddish Theatre in Victoria, the sustainability of the Yiddish language and the support of our community whilst reaching out to engage with others.

The modern Kadimah in 2020 is pushing the boundaries in contemporary Yiddish theatre, building community through diverse cultural programming, festivals and music; championing the study of Yiddish through language and literature classes and the library, and engaging with the Jewish and wider community.

Through culture and language, the Kadimah offers a unique pathway to the creation, maintenance and development of Jewish identity in Australia.

Please help us to ensure that the joy and riches of the Yiddish culture and language are available to future generations.

A gift in your Will will help us to create innovate programming, make Yiddish and Ashkenazi culture even more accessible, and build continuity for Jewish culture and heritage.

Gifts in Wills have played an important role in the history of the Kadimah and are recognised in Annual Reports and in other ways. Gifts can be left for specific interests, to an Endowment Fund or to more general funds. We would be delighted to help you to ensure your proposed Gift is left as you would like it.

Please speak to your solicitor about how you would like to leave your Gift and please let us know if you are planning to remember us in your Will so that we can thank you.

For further information in the strictest of confidence please contact Joe Tigel (joe@iuser.com.au), President, The Kadimah Jewish Cultural Centre and National Library, download the Kadimah Bequest Brochure using the button below, or fill in the contact form below.
