As lockdown came to an end in Melbourne, we joined Yiddish supergroup YID! co-founder and much-loved Melbourne music legend Simon Starr for our second Yiddish Parlour Gig. An accomplished composer, multi-instrumentalist, arranger and producer who has toured, recorded and performed with many of Australia’s most respected artists, Simon brightened our weekend with his signature style of deep-grooves, upbeat Yiddish folk and soaring Hebrew anthems.
