Are you yearning to hear and read Yiddish?

Then come to the Kadimah!  Our Leyn Kreyz welcome readers and listeners every Wednesday evening from 8:00PM and is led by Dr Yankl Dessauer.

The Yiddish Leyn Kreyzn (meaning reading circles) have been meeting at the Kadimah for a great many years.

The Tuesday morning Leyn Kreyz meets at the Kadimah Library from 10.00AM to 12.00PM and is led by Beni Gothajner. A $20 per week, tax deductable donation, is appreciated.

From time to time, the Leyn Kreyzn also feature guest presenters. We were recently visited by Prof Mark Caplan, Brukhe Lang-Caplan and actor Rafael Goldwaser. Previous guests have included the writer and editor of “Forverts” – Boris Sandler, as well as local writers and academics.
