Out of the Depths: A musical soirée 

A world premiere musical event created especially for the MJBW Festival!

The story of Holocaust survivors who carried melodies of their suffering, hope, and tenacity, shared in the immediate aftermath of the war. Twelve Yiddish songs never before performed, from Ukraine and Poland, from Latvian work camps and Jews expelled from Krakow to Mezrich near Lublin. Music and stories brought to life by Adam Starr, Galit Klas, Joseph Toltz and other brilliant Melbourne klezmorim. Don’t miss it!
