Unravelling the enigma that was Itzik Manger, on the 120th anniversary of his birth, the Bund and the Kadimah present an online homage to this most beloved of Yiddish poets.
Narrated by Evelyn Krape, with Yosl Tigel in the role of Manger, this dramatised documentary features some of his classic works performed as music, poetry, film and animation, recreated by Melbourne artists, together with expert interviews and first-hand accounts from people who met him.
