Together with Sholem Aleichem College and Monash University, the Kadimah is planning how best to cater for Yiddish lovers and learners in 2019.  The full range of programs will depend on feedback from YOU about what you want and need.

We already have a suite of programs planned but if what you are looking for is not catered for please let us know.

  • New beginners classes starting in Brunswick and Elsternwick
  • Continuing classes in Brunswick and Elsternwick for those with a little Yiddish:
  • Advanced Monday class with Alex Dafner
  • Yiddish literature reading circles and Shmuz groups

Following the success of our 2018 Winter Yiddish Intensive, the Jacob Kronhill Program in Yiddish Language and Culture at Monash University’s Australian Centre for Jewish Civilisation is currently planning an Intensive Yiddish Summer Program to be held at Monash Caulfield in February 2019.
